Noisy Pets
The Animal Services Unit of Union City will respond directly to complaints regarding noisy animals.
The Process: An educational brochure will be left with the animal's owner requesting compliance with state and city laws. If the noise continues after this warning, the matter may be formally referred to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office for prosecution.
Animals Running at Large
For the safety of the community, dogs are strictly not permitted to roam without leashes.
HOA Authorization: Union City Animal Control has been granted License to Enter Real Property by the Board of Directors for the purpose of impounding animals running at large (Union City Ordinance NO 97-73).
