Household Pet Guidelines
Pet Limits per Lot
A maximum of four (4) household pets are allowed per lot, with a strict limit of two (2) dogs. If a pet has a litter that exceeds this total allowed number, the newborn pets must be relocated within three (3) months of birth.
Leash Requirements
Pets are not permitted to run at large in any common area. Dogs must be securely restrained by a substantial leash not exceeding six (6) feet in length and must be controlled by a competent person at all times.
Waste Cleanup
Pet owners must immediately pick up their animal's feces. All waste must be placed in a fly-proof container and properly disposed of. Animals are not permitted to repeatedly deposit waste or fluids on community property.
Nuisance & Safety
Pets must not disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood with excessive barking or noise. Furthermore, animals must never be allowed to molest, attack, or interfere with the lawful movement of any person on the property.
Violations & Appeals
Complaints & Fines: Every homeowner has the right to file a written complaint upon witnessing a violation of these rules. If the HOA deems the complaint valid, the pet owner/keeper will be issued a written warning or fine.
Appeals Process: All warnings and fines may be appealed in writing to the Board of Directors. Appeals must be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days after the fine is issued.
